I am LOVING this book. It is very clearly written and the text in written in a way that anyone can understand it. As a Medical Lab Assistant and a Phlebotomist, this book is really helping me understand more about the tests doctors order and has given me the ability to explain to patients what their blood work is for.

Very helpful information in this book. It explains the different lab test and what the results mean. I know this is information that can be looked up on the internet but this book puts it all in one place with excellent descriptions in plain english.

The reason I bought this book was to look for things that can cause interference which this book does not highlight on. The formatting is out of place as if someone just copy and pasted information onto word and then hit print - tables are chopped up and the end of the section questions (4 per section) are basic recall information. It does mention a variety of testing the lab values - but it just wasn't what I was looking for.

It is a concise book and offers a quick reference to nurses and also laboratory personnel. There are references and exercises helping me to further understand those laboratory tests. Highly recommended.

The book is thorough and I found the section on hematological values and tests very helpful since that is what I struggle with the most. All of the content is very well written and suitable for high school students such as myself and higher level students as well. Totally worth the money!

Simple and easy to find what I need.

It was not in detail as i thought it would be

This is my second book from this company. My favorite thing about them is their ease of reading. They give the information that’s important to know in a bulleted format. As a grad student I have so much to read this format makes it easy to process the information without having to re-read it over and over. There are mini-quizzes after each chunk of content to solidify your knowledge. Highly recommend this book to students and professionals that need a quick reference!!
