This book contains two books that have been previously published. William W. Johnstone's the first mountain man books 1 and 8. So if you are a fan of the preacher series you may already have these books in your library.
I'm confused and should have read these reviews before purchasing for my dad . I was looking for New released Westerns, not 're released. This is so going to be like that tie I gave him in the 3rd grade for father's day. Or the Budda sculpture I made him in the 4th. Grade! I'm sure he already has this one. I like to send him western paperbacks instead of cards. Oh well I guess I better get to ordering something else. Thank goodness for Prime!
It two partial books and nether of them complete I don't like the way this was miss labeled shame on you
I’ve read almost the entire Preacher mountain man series fast easy reading about the movement west of people who wanted a new life and the interaction of Preacher guiding wagon trains to the promise land that no human had ever set foot on Indians unscrupulous outlaws all take part very realistic situations
For fans of Preacher I felt I paid twice as this was just a repeat of 3 books...
At first I thought I reading a earlier book till I got further into the book, but I still don't know when Art changes his name to Preacher. I guess I will find out when I read more of the Preacher series books. They are really enjoyable books to read...
We, in this household, always enjoy a good western. This book begins the journey of the mountain man series and we loved it. We often re-read our favorite stories and then again, we forget some books as we read so many. Loved the book and will continue to read books by this author.
If you've read all the other Preacher books this one will be refresh your memory since it is just a rehash of several other books in the series.
