About the Author
Neal Hotelling has authored many articles on golf and history and also serves as executive editor of Pebble Beach: The Magazine. He is the recipient of the International Network of Golf’s Golf Book of the Year Award for Pebble Beach Golf Links: The Official History. He has additionally authored Titleist's Viewers Guide to the 2000 U.S. Open and coauthored Pebble Beach Heritage Collection. Joann Dost studied photography under the legendary Ansel Adams, and for nearly 30 years she has photographed Pebble Beach Resorts and its courses. She has received many awards for her photography, and her work can be seen in national and international magazines.

Their are panoramic books on beautiful places-- this is not one of them. Beautiful place, that I have seen and loved, but this is a great history of golf in Pebble Beach and the wonderful Monterey Peninsula , Great photos from the area's history, new colorful shots, detailed records and photos of all the great championships played in the area-- Great names from Bing, Babe, Clint, are all included in the story-- but like great places in our lives, somebody sometime had the imagination and fortitude to create what we love today, read their story-- Great book. Thank you
